Kellie Martin is the American actor and director of films, is best known for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Also, Kellie is well-known as the main character in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher Martin was able to begin her career in acting when she was just seven, when her aunt who worked as a nanny for Michael Landon's children helped her land an appearance in the series of 1982 "Father Murphy.". After graduating of Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land important roles on the small screen and the big screen. Martin has a background as an actor as well as an accomplished dancer and photographer, has been in the business for over 20 years. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus at age 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
